Toyota logo is seen on Toyota Highlanders at its dealership in San Jose, California on August 27, 2019. United States and Japan has reached a preliminary trade deal for Japan to open its market to more imports of U.S. agricultural products, including beef, pork, wheat, dairy products, wine and ethanol, while potentially eliminating the possibilty of Trump imposing a 25 percent tariff on Japan's auto and auto parts exports. Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe announced the agreement at the G7 summit in France, with hopes for a formal signing in September alongside U.N. General Assembly meetings.
