Daily Life In Nagorno Karabach (Artsakh)
A weapon directed to Azerbaijan - a memorial of Nagorno Karabach War in Martakert in Nagorno Karabach (self proclaimed Republic of Artsakh) on October 10, 2019. Martakert is an Artsakh town situated near to the Azerbaijani controlled territories, the town was a place of fierce battles during the Nagorno Karabach War. Artsakh is a subject of dispute between Azerbaijan and Armenians, it historically is occupied by Armenians but was included into Azerbaijan after the collapse of Soviet Union. Artsakh is today a de facto independent state but it is not recognised by any other party. Border with Azerbaijan is closed, it is possible to enter Artsakh only through Armenia.
