Demonstration Against Retirement Reform In Toulouse
Between 30 and 50000 protesters demonstrated in Toulouse for a demonstration called by nearly all trade unions (CGT, UNSA, SUD, UNL, UNEF, FO, UNSA, etc.). Protesters demand the withdrawal of the new reform of retirement (age, pension, conditions, etc.). Macron's governement proposes a change between a pay-as-you-go pension system by a capitalization system on an idea from Jean-Claude Delvoye . The French government want also an unification of all pension systems in France (except for policemen, military, congressmen, senators, ministers). It's the 2nd day of nationwide protests and strikes in France. Toulouse. France. November 12th 2019. (Photo by Alain Pitton/NurPhoto)
