Health Professionals Protest In Venezuela
Nursing staff, bioanalysts, dentists and nutritionists held a 'Christmas Dinner of Empty Dishes' on December 19 in Maracaibo, Venezuela. The protest was focused on the official residence of the state governor, and aims to demand the payment of One Billion Two Hundred Thousand Bolivarian sovereigns by contract. That health employees are owed since the beginning of the year by the regional government, the protesters remained on site until they were personally attended by Governor Omar Prieto.
