Several hundred people took part in a protest march and demonstration in response to the election of Stanislav Krecek to the Public Defender of Rights and demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Andrej Babis. The manifestation was organized by the civic movement Million Moments for Democracy which is concerned that the Czech Republic is headed in the same direction as Poland and Hungary.
