Israeli wall built in order to separate the Israeli settlement of Beit El about Ramallah area and Jalazoun camp for Palestinian refugees. West Bank . on April 28, 2015. Behind the separation wall Ramallah City, 15 km northern of Jerusalem, population of about 29000. Considered one of important cities politically. Beit El Israeli-settlement located north-east of Ramallah, about 500 meters from Ramallah city of the west Israeli-occupied. Known as Balou area, used for a clashes between Palestinians and Israeli military in the second intifada in 2000. Building a wall separating the Beit El Israeli-settlement from the city of Ramallahو and extends until the entrance of Jalazoun camp for Palestinian refugees. Beit El Israeli-settlement built in 1977. Small public park (Square kilometers) at the entrance of Ramallah city, where the road that leads to the city of Nablus, opposite of Beit El Israeli-settlement, separated by a large roundabout carries the flag of Palestine. Surda is a Palestinian village located to the north-west of the city of Ramallah and away from approximately 2 km.
