Trafalgar Square Fouth Plinth Stands Empty Ahead Of New Installation

The Fourth Plinth, on which temporary art installations have sat since 1999, stands empty in Trafalgar Square in London, England, on March 11, 2020. The new artwork, the 13th to be displayed on the plinth, is to be Heather Phillipson's 'THE END': a giant replica of a swirl of cream with a cherry, fly and drone resting on it. The piece is to be unveiled on March 26. (Photo by David Cliff/NurPhoto)
