2015 Milan Universal Exposition - Protest
Italy, Milan: Thousands of students took part in a demonstration in downtown Milan on April 30, 2015 to protest against the World Exposition Milano 2015 (Universal Exposition). According to reports students planned to take to the streets of Milan for several days, demonstrating against both the Expo management and the Italian Government, amid suggestions that students should work for free at the Expo to gain experience, and that the Expo itself is seriously flawed, 2600 extra police have been called in to deal with security and preceived threats.
