Toulouse On Lockdown Due To Covid-19 Pandemic

Bars and restaurants terraces on the most touristic and iconic place of Toulouse, the Capitole. On Monday March 16th, French President Macron announced that all people will be on lockdown due to the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic. In Toulouse as elsewhere in France, all shops 'non essentials' were closed until further notice. Police patrols the streets to check people outside. People must have a permit to move around. As the Covid-19 coronavirus spreads across France, President Macron announced the closing down of all schools, highchools, universities to try to contain the spread of the coronavirus on March 12th.
