Estate agents warn fracking
The Gascoigne Halman estate agent in Manchester, on Friday 1st May 2015, displaying and trading properties which are available for sale and rent. -- UK estate agents have warned that fracking, the controversial method of sourcing gas, will cause house prices to fall in areas where fracking takes place. Fracking has been said to cause earthquakes and pollutants to enter the water system. The findings have come from a report by the marketing research agency Redshift which was commissioned by Greenpeace UK in which 60 estate agents were surveyed. (Photo by Jonathan Nicholson/NurPhoto)
