Automatic pedestrian signal crossings, operating 24 x 7 a week seen on March 28, 2020 in CBD area of Sydney , Australia. This initiative by NSW transport department aims to minimise the spread of Coronavirus in the community .This means pedestrians no longer need to push the 'call' button to activate the pedestrian signal crossings while still being able to cross the road safely and access health services.
