Neighborhood Stores Are The Backbones Of Their Community
Even under the best of times, corner stores, country stores, or bodegas are the backbones of their respective communities, providing for everything from that dozen eggs, bread, or Toilet paper you forgot to pick up to minor medicines or a hoagie. While we've all been doing or best to social-distance, they have also become a pressure valve for the larger grocers and a grocer of last resort for those too sick to go far in Philadelphia on April 1, 2020.
