Daily Life During Coronavirus Epidemic In Toronto

Sign at a grocery store urging shoppers not to sample the produce in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on April 03, 2020. With the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) growing in Canada, many grocery stores are limiting the number of people allowed to enter at one time in an effort to promote and enforce social distancing (physical distancing). Today the Province of Ontario released its projections for COVID-19 which estimate that there will be between 3,000 and 15,000 deaths in Ontario due to the virus over the next two years. However if Ontario did not take any measures to slow the spread of COVID-19, there could be as many as 100,000 deaths over the course of the next two years. As of today the province has reported 3,255 cases of the virus, including 1,023 recoveries and 67 deaths, but there have been dozens of additional deaths that have not been reported by provincial health officials.
