Polish Government Faces Increasing Opposition Over Upcoming Presidential Elections
People are seen on the boulevard along the Vistula river in Warsaw, Poland on April 27, 2020. The Polish government is facing an increasing push-back from it's opposition and local authorities in it's attempt to organize presidential elections during an epidemic. The ruling Law and Justice party has pushed through changes in legislation to go ahead with a postal vote despite health concerns and logistical complications. Starting May 4 the playgrounds will re-open as the goverment slowly eases restrictions on public life. (Photo by Jaap Arriens/NurPhoto)
