20th Anniversary Of Sister Faustina Canonization
A statue of Sister Faustina seen outside the monastery complex of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Krakow, seen on the eve of the 20th anniversary of Sister Faustina's canonization. Maria Faustyna Kowalska, also known as Sister Maria Faustina of the Blessed Sacrament, was a Polish Roman Catholic nun. Her apparitions of Jesus Christ inspired the Roman Catholic devotion to the Divine Mercy. The Roman Catholic Church canonized Sister Faustina as a saint on 30 April 2000.
