SINDHUPALCHOK, NEPAL-- May 5, 2015--Mikvado Taman offers water to his mother Marki Taman who was transported to a makeshift medical clinic in Sindhupalchok after being discovered trapped under a beam in her home. The region suffered widespread destruction on April 25 when a massive earthquake hit Nepal. The woman was discovered the same morning trapped under a beam inside her house.
