Despite the lifting of the emergency measures which limited the free transit and the imposition of an obligatory quarantine, the Portuguese government continue to carry out their projects to support the citizen in the face of the advance of the COVID-19. The Estrela Community Council has been adopting measures to contain the coronavirus disease, such actions include social assistance to community as effort to deliver the meals at home. In this way, the parents of these children are prevented from having to enter places of risk and expose their children to any danger of contamination. The children will receive daily visits from "Fomecas" (the program's mascot) at their home to give them their food and encourage the children in quarantine. (Photo by Jorge Mantilla/NurPhoto)
