Oposition Activists Stage A Mock Election In Krakow
An activist from the Committee for the Defence of Democracy (KOD) casts her vote during a mock election at Krakow's Blonia Park. The election was set to take place today, but was suspended following debate over how and when voting could be done safely during the coronavirus pandemic. The government had proposed an all-postal vote, but criticism of the plan and infighting complicated preparations and led to the postponement announced only last Wednesday.
