Yellow Vests Protest In Toulouse

One of the few protestes show a placard reading 'Medal of the shame for the government' in Toulouse, France, on May 16th 2020. This woman has been arrested and fined 135EUR for 'illegal gathering'. As the lockdown in France came to an end on May 11th, the Yellow Vests protesters called to a new protest for May 16th. The Yellow Vests gathering was forbidden by the Prefet of Haute-Garonne. Yellow Vests tried to gather but an heavy police presence, ID checks, arrests and fines blocked them. Police sent also a water cannon.
