Coronavirus In Mexico
Members of the Otomi Hnahnu community, originally from the State of Queretaro and living in Mexico City, on May 18, 2020 organized a food collection and barter center in the face of the health emergency caused by COVID-19 in Mexico. The place, located at Av. Chapultepec 342, make earrings, backpacks, table runners, dolls, key chains and mouth covers, all handmade. Currently, they invite citizens to donate food in exchange for their crafts or buy them to mitigate the economic impact of the current health emergency. This activity will be carried out from Monday to Friday from 11am to 5pm by Patricia Arroyo, representative of said community. (Photo by Gerardo Vieyra/NurPhoto)
