Coronavirus Emergency In Lisbon

General view of the Santa Apolinia train station in Lisbon, the starting point of the line that connects Portugal and Spain by rail, 29 May 2020. The historic night train journey between the capitals of Portugal and Spain was suspended on March 17 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and it is known that it will not be reopened. This travel, carried out by the Portuguese company CP and the Spanish Renfe, will not be continued in any circumstances. The news was given by a Renfe spokesman who assured that the route will not be operational again. The reason for this cancellation is that it is one of the least profitable services for companies and therefore less of a priority. (Photo by Jorge Mantilla/NurPhoto)
