Tribute To George Floyd In Front Of The US Embassy In Paris
On Monday, June 1, 2020, several dozen people gathered and knelt down in front of the US Embassy in Paris for a tribute to George Floyd, who was killed by police in Mineapolis on May 25. This demonstration was called by the association "Touche pas à mon pote", the UEJF (Union des Etudiants Juifs de France) and various anti-racist associations including Black Live Matters.
