Protests Against Police Brutality Over Death Of George Floyd Continue In NYC

Following a night of often violent protests, demonstrators confront police in Manhattan as protests continue against the police killing of George Floyd on June 02, 2020 in New York City. Establishments such as Saks Fifth Ave., deploys security guards, flood lights barb wires and boarded windows to combat looters. Apple Flagship Store also installed wire fencing and boarded the whole glass facade. Thousands of protesters took to the streets throughout the city yesterday to continue to show anger at Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin who was filmed kneeling on George Floyd's neck before he was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
