Independence Day In Manila
Last year, June 12, 2019 in Rizal Park, Manila, a large number of crowd celebrated the Philippines Independence Day. Today, the Malacanang Palace announced that President Rodrigo Duterte will skip the rites in Rizal Park because he may attract a massive influx of crowd. The President assigned Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea for the event. In tomorrow's celebration of Independence Day, only 10 qualified persons are allowed to attend and it is not open to public than before. Photo taken in Manila on June 12, 2019.
