Lucyna Adamkiewicz, a former prisoner of Auschwitz and Gusen II camps, seen during a march to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the first transport of 728 Polish prisoners to Auschwitz German Death Camp. In 2006, the Polish Sejm (parliament) voted to make June 14th the National Day of Remembrance for the Victims of German Nazi Concentration and Extermination Camps.
