Former Formula One Driver Alex Zanardi Involved In A Serious Road Accident
Italian professional racing driver and paracyclist Alex Zanardi prepares for the start of the 23rd edition of the Rome Marathon (Maratona die Roma) in the centre of Rome, Italy, 02 April 2017. Reports on 21 June 2020 state four-time paralympic champion and former Formula One driver Alex Zanardi was involved in a serious road accident on 19 June 2020 in the province of Siena while taking part in a race on his handbike during one of the stages of the relay of Obiettivo tricolore.
