Protest Against Israel's Plan To Annex Parts Of The West Bank

The Israeli government is reportedly preparing to annex parts of the West Bank that were first occupied by the IDF in the 1967 Six-Day War. The annexation of up to 30 percent of the occupied Palestinian territory, deemed illegal under extant international law, would fulfill a campaign promise pledged by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the recent general elections. The move has the full backing of the administration of US President Donald Trump who expressed his support for it back in January but is overwhelmingly rejected by most actors in the restive region.
