Red Alert In Maracaibo In The Face Of An Increase In Covid-19

Venezuelans pass through the streets in search of food, at the risk of contagion from Covid-19 in the city of Maracaibo, Venezuela on June 26, 2020. In the last 24 hours, 84 positive cases have been registered, according to official figures, Zulia has 578 positive cases and is the second state with the most infections. The Mayor of the state capital indicated that there are 600 positive rapid tests, and that they only await the results of the molecular tests to confirm the increase in the pandemic. The board of directors of the state College of Physicians has declared that the entity is on 'Red Alert' before the growing number of coronavirus cases and demands the application of a contingency program in hospitals.
