Engineering Students Working With Vietnam Veteran During COVID-19 Pandemic

A team of all-female engineers from the University of Cincinnati and Quality of Life Plus deliver a convertible top device to Mike Donnelly to use on his scooter. Mike, a Vietnam veteran, is legally blind and has mobility issues due to his exposure to Agent Orange. The convertible top will provide Mike with shelter from the elements while using his scooter. The students worked with Quality of Life Plus remotely from home to finish and deliver the device to Mike on his birthday in the wake of the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.
