Opening Of The National Museum In Colombia

Opening of the National Museum In Bogota, Colombia, on August 1, 2020. The National Museum of Colombia was the first to close its doors and today it is the first to open its facilities to the public, amid partial reluctance to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. This Saturday, August 1, Minister Carmen Ines Vasquez, Vice-Ministers Felipe Buitrago and Jose Ignacio Argote, director of the Daniel Castro Museum and representatives of the Association of Friends of the National Museum, officially opened the doors of the panopticon. Visitors must pre-register on the museum's website and comply with biosafety protocols upon entry. (Photo by Vannessa Jimenez G/NurPhoto)
