'Flame Of Brotherhood' Commemorates Ukrainian Soldiers Heroes Of Poland

Local scouts during the ceremony in Rakowicki cemetery outside the monument to Ukrainian soldiers and interned civilians, who died from 1918 to 1921. Hundreds of scouts took part in the 'Flame of Brotherhood' campaign, a joint initiative of Polish and Ukrainian scouts. Participants met at dozens of cemeteries in Poland to honor the memory of Ukrainian soldiers - heroes of Poland in the fight for freedom during the Polish-Soviet war 1919-1921.
