Krakow's Jozef Pilsudski Bridge Rady To Re-Open
A view of plaques 'Zieleniewski Krakow' and 'Polwar Gdansk' constrction companies involved in the construction and re-construction work of Jozef Pilsudski Bridge. The famous Krakow's landmark, built in 1933, appeared in 'Schindler's List' - a 1993 American movie directed and produced by Steven Spielberg. The bridge has been closed since March 2019 due to renovation. 100% of the steel structure was replaced and railings were repaired and covered with anti-corrosion protection. The bridge pillars were cleaned and the pathes were paved. As part of the investment, the 147.5-meter-long truss structure of the bridge will be illuminated at night.
