Thai Students Protest In Bangkok
The ''Bad Students'' student activist group gathered at Thailand's Ministry of Education in Bangkok, Thailand, on August 19, 2020 to protest the actions of teachers and government officials who have called for the punishment of student who support the anti-government protest movement. In recent days some teachers have actively sought to suppress the voices of students by threatening them with lower grades. In addition to this a Thai member of parliament even offered a cash reward to teachers who would physically slap students who performed the three finger Hunger Games salute which has become a symbol of the protest movement.
