Guidance for the new distance education modality in Ahuelican, Guerrero, Mexico, on August 24, 2020 The Benito Juarez Bilingual Primary School in the Nahua indigenous community of Ahuelican, opened its doors at the request of the parents committee, so that teachers, students and parents themselves, could receive guidance on the distance education modality, instituted by the federal government due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Free textbooks and diagnostic exercises were distributed. This elementary school has three teachers who serve in a multilevel modality, meaning two groups of different levels per teacher, in precarious conditions, so many children do not have internet or television to continue their studies in this new format.
