Sarus Cranes In Myanmar
A pair of Sarus Crane stand in a paddy field near Maubin Township, Irrawaddy Region, Myanmar on August 30, 2020. Myanmar's indigenous bird, the Sarus Crane is a rare species not only in the World but also in Myanmar. Irrawaddy Delta Region is one of Sarus Crane’s habitats in Myanmar. There are estimated 500 Sarus Cranes in Myanmar, and about 200 - 400 are living in Irrawaddy Delta Region.
