Planthopper Nymph

The creature with the white filaments is an immature Planthopper Nymph, possibly in the family Fulgoridae. The filaments are actually a waxy substance produced by the Planthopper nymph as protection. This photo was taken at Teahtta, Nadia, West Bengal, India, on September 12, 2020. (Photo by Soumyabrata Roy/NurPhoto)
