Justice Ordered The Eviction Of The Lands in Guernica
Families with children settled on private lands in Guernica Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on September 10, 2020. For a month due to extreme need, housing crisis, hunger, despair, unemployment and the covid, families have been taking abandoned or undeveloped land to live precariously. The situation has been in progress until 2,500 families settled in area of 100 ha. of land that suppose to be for private enterprises. On September 9, the justice ordered the eviction of that territory that is in Guernica, province of Buenos Aires, although to this day a peaceful and structural solution to the situation is being search. There are more than 7000 thousand children. These lands do not have essential services and people survive with even no water and in precarious ranches built with sticks and bags.
