Guatemala's Vice President, Guillermo Castillo (C) leaves the Metropolitan Cathedral where the Te Deum was held on Monday, September 14, at the celebration of the raising of the flag for the 199th anniversary of Guatemala's Independence. Due to the pandemic affecting the country, all public events were cancelled during the celebration to avoid further contagion. During COVID-19, 82,172 people were infected and 2,972 died.
