Markets Of La Merced Celebrate 63 Years

Mariachis walk the aisles of the Jamaica Market to celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the La Merced and Mixcalco Markets, which were founded on September 23, 1957 by the then president of Mexico, Adolfo Ruíz Cortines. With a small mass, mariachi music and balloons that decorated their corridors, this is how the merchants received their customers to buy fruits, vegetables, meats, Mexican snacks, among others.
