A Red Army Star on a Soviet T-34, the memorial of the Battle of the Dukla Pass of 1944, near Ladomirova and Svidník, on the Slovak side of the Dukla Pass. It commemorates a World War II tank battle between the Soviets and Germans. in Sep–Oct1944. Five days to Presov turned into fifty days to Svidnik alone, with over 70,000 casualties on both sides.
