Climate Protest Fridays For Future In Hanover

Friday-for-Future activists blocked large parts of the busy city ring during the Global Climate Strike on September 25, 2020 in Hannover, Germany. Under the motto ''No degree further'', the climate activists called for climate-friendly policies and compliance with the goals of the Paris Accord. Rallies took place at eight different locations along the city ring road, which is a comprehensive system of city streets in the city center, significantly reducing car traffic.
