Knife Attack in Paris Near the Former Offices of the Magazine Charlie Hebdo
Prime Minister Jean Castex and Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin during a press conference in Paris, France, on September 25, 2020, when shortly before noon a man armed with a knife or a machete attacked people in the rue Nicolas Appart in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, where the former premises of the Charlie Hebdo newspaper are located and where the attacks of January 7, 2015 against the newspaper's editorial staff took place, causing 2 injuries. The perpetrator of the attack was arrested along with a second man, and a security perimeter was immediately established in the nearby streets.
