Knife Attack in Paris Near the Former Offices of the Magazine Charlie Hebdo
Jean-François Ricard, anti-terrorist prosecutor, Prime Minister Jean Castex and Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin at a press conference in Paris, France, on September 25, 2020, when shortly before noon a man armed with a knife or machete attacked people in the rue Nicolas Appart in the 11th arrondissement of Paris where the former premises of the newspaper Charlie Hebdo are located and where the attacks of January 7, 2015 against the newspaper's editorial staff took place, leaving two people injured. The perpetrator of the attack was arrested along with a second man, and a security perimeter was immediately established in the nearby streets.
