New Biothec Law: Protest In France

Protesters do a die-in at the beginning of the protest. The banner reads 'Our lives, our bodies, your gobs'. As a new bioethic law is processed by the French National Assembly, a collective of several organizations engaged for gestationnal surrogacy and assisted reproductive technology called for a counterdemonstration as the right-wing movement 'Manif pour tous' which demonstrated away. They are against ART and gestationnal surrogacy. LGBTQI+ groups were also there, in Toulouse, France, on October 10, 2020. (Photo by Alain Pitton/NurPhoto)
