Last Night In Paris Before Curfew

In the rue Montorgueil, police officers are patrolling to check that restaurants and brasseries are indeed starting to close as the curfew introduced to deal with the outbreak of the coronavirus COVID-19 is due to begin Saturday October 17 at midnight. On the evening of Friday October 16, many Parisians went out to restaurants and brasseries to enjoy the last night of freedom before at least a month. Terraces and halls were stormed and many Parisians hung out until the last hour. (Photo by Samuel Boivin/NurPhoto)
