Climate Activists Rallied Inside The Building Of The Ministry Of Economic Affairs And Climate Policy Building In The Hague
October 20th, The Hague. Extinction Rebellion activists wearing suits snuck into the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy building in The Hague to carry on a peaceful 'sit-in', and unfurl a banner in the lobby of the building. With this action, the activists demand to stop the fossil fuel subsidies and spend more on sustainable policy. Police officers asked the group to move on but after they refused they were arrested late in the afternoon. (Photo by Romy Arroyo Fernandez/NurPhoto)
