The campaign has already begun on on the referendum. A referendum is vote on a single issue. The United Kingdom benefits from European Union membership and is felt throughout the UK, even if there are not explicit and highly visual signs. However, there are perceived drawbacks from EU membership. The European Union, as the European Coal and Steel Union (including Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg and the Netherlands), was initiated to tie France and Germany together through international trade as a method of preventing war in Europe. The United Kingdom benefits from European Union membership and is felt throughout the UK. However, there are perceived drawbacks from EU membership. The passenger light railway transit system, known as the Manchester Metrolink, receives money from the European Union in order improve its central Manchester cross-city network increasing the network's capacity to run more frequent services to its different destinations, across Greater Manchester.
