Eve Of Dia De Muertos In Mexico City
Offering dedicated to the Battalion of San Patricio under the statue of John O Riley, an Irish commander who joined the Mexican army at the Battle of Churubusco in 1847, who formed this group against the US intervention in Mexico. The installation of the offering was placed in the Plaza de San Jacinto, Mexico City, on the eve of Día de Muertos in Mexico and in memory of the fallen of the battalion who were tortured and publicly murdered by the US Army in this plaza in September of 1847.
