Cempasuchil flower growers in Chalco, State of Mexico on October 31, 2020. Peasants from the municipality of Chalco in the State of Mexico, year after year have become producers of the marigold flower, velvet and cloud, which they sell on the banks of the Chalco - San Martin Cuautlalpan highway.This year, the producers comment that the sale of flowers has decreased to almost 50% compared to previous years, this due to the Covid-19 pandemic for which the various pantheons in this eastern part of the Valley of Mexico will close the days November 1 and 2 in order to avoid crowds and possible Covid-19 infections.
