Daily Life In Warsaw

Grafitti with the words "Fuck PiS" is seen painted on the wall of a TK Max shop in central Warsaw, Poland on November 3, 2020. Hundreds of thousands of people in cities across the country have been taking part in protests against a near-total ban on abortions for nearly two weeks. The Constitutional Tribunal two weeks ago announced it's decision that abortion in cases of a malformed foetus is unconstitutional. The decision immediately led to large scale protests caused by anger and frustration towards the ruling, conservaite Law and Justice party (PiS) for their increasingly restrictive stance on women's rights. Poland has some of the most rigorous laws on abortion in the EU and the world. (Photo by Jaap Arriens/NurPhoto)
